Another one for the Splice Contest!

This is a mix between a Macaroni Penguin and a Sea Krait (Sea Snake). Done in water colors, I really tried to meld these two together, so the snake's skin pattern encompasses the whole creature, while the penguin's body shape and head are in the forefront. Thank my sister for the penguin idea, even if she completely rejected the snake. XD

This took so long to do with those stripes, but I'm proud of it either way. 8D<3

Ahh, this is cool, nice mix

The time you put into it was worth it because it looks really awesome, the shading is pretty <3 Not only are your watercolors always good, they actually make a really nice, soft underwater look :3 Maybe this is a little weird to say but the face is cute XD

But thank you. I admit this one is not as good as the other one, but both I hope will at least get me past preliminaries. I really do wonder how we'll be notified, if at all.

And it's okay to think it's cute...everyone thinks penguins are cute! XD
